God’s plan is transformation. The goal is unity.
As the world is in a big transformation process of which we have very little control, we can focus on our growth towards becoming more like Christ. Not in an “I focus on me” way, but a “I focus on God” way.
Jesus offers a complete mutual indwelling to all who receive him, “As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you, Abide in my love.” (John 15:9)
This fullness of love that’s in Him is in you. Love is your inner force for healing your soul and being transformed into living united with the Spirit of God.
You can practice this in your daily time with God. Experience the power of transformation using love! The goal is to keep your heart pure, open and full of love.
Here’s how it works:
Take whatever presents itself in your heart as “dark” or unpleasant — things making you feel uneasy or separate from peace. Some examples include: images and news on TV, sadness, anger, fear, despair, cravings for substances or escape, anxiety, etc.
Find love in your heart. Sometimes, I think of my little dog and instantly I have a strong feeling of love. Think about Jesus or someone you love.
Surrender your pain or suffering to and in that love inside. Notice a feeling of peace deep within, as you dwell in love. Repeat all day if you need! Let love be your focus and goal!
God’s plan is to keep us rooted and grounded in love, so that we can have peace. Peace leads to righteousness and joy. The righteousness of Christ keeps us on a path where we can continuously experience joy.
Remember, “The Joy of the Lord is my strength.” (Psalm 28:7)
Stay strong my friends????????
